The ministry in Dromore Cathedral has touched so many people’s lives over the years. To celebrate and give thanks we’re organising a special service on Sunday 1st September 2019 at 3pm at which Bishop Moses Zungo from Maridi Diocese will be our guest speaker. The whole purpose of this service is to bring together all those people who have, or have had at some stage in the past, an attachment to the Cathedral, for a celebration service followed by a special tea in the Cathedral Hall. This service will present us all with an opportunity to build, deepen and renew our friendships with one another, no matter how long it has been since we last met. Please do engage with the spirit of this occasional service and actively encourage your family and friends to join with us all on the day. You may also be aware of some folks who have moved from the area for one reason or another, but would still consider themselves to be Cathedral people. Let us know about them, give us their contact details (having first sought their permission) and we will write to them inviting them to join with us. We are depending on you, the parishioner, to engage with this fully in order that the service will be one to remember and an occasion which we will be talking about for years to come. Please let us have their details by 30th June at the latest. The offering on the day will be divided equally between our own Development Fund and the needs of Maridi Diocese as they seek to re-develop their homeland having returned from refugee camps. An envelope for this purpose will be included with the July edition of Cathedral Life
